After starting her career in mathematics, Elena switched to design where she worked for the past 15 years. She had worked at a number of startups and big companies across Russia and Europe, such as Elle, LeasePlan, and Booking.com. Elena combines her experience in design and background in science to use data and user research to drive her work. She's currently leading design at DeepL, one of the world's best machine learning translation platforms.
